The Council is an advisory body to the Rector. Its responsibility is to investigate, under the authority of the Rector, all those things which pertain to pastoral works, to ponder them, and to propose practical conclusions about them.
Section 2. Purpose
To provide a consultative body to the Rector that is representative of the People of God at the Cathedral.
To provide a representative forum for the full and free discussion of all matters of pastoral concern in the Cathedral parish.
To assess needs, recommend priorities, goals, and objective to the Rector.
To conduct a Parish Assembly, as determined by the Parish Pastoral Council, for developing plans to meet the pastoral needs of the Cathedral parish.
